We are proud to announce that VDW AiDrone will be represented at the first meeting of drones in Belgium as exponent. It’ll take place at Tour & Taxis, Bruxelles, from 7th to 9th of March. Both Saturday and Sunday are reserved to the public as Monday to the professionals only.
VDW AirDrone is now able to make orthophotomaps, which are maps made by merging orthophotos (also called orthophotographs or orthoimages).
It’s done! Our drone has been homologated by DGAC (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile) in France. We are now full operational to overfly anytime anywhere regarding the France aeronautical flight rules.
After one year of developing, we are proud to be the first drone company in the world to have transmitted full HD videos in live. The first flight has been made overhead the festival “les Ardentes” as you can see on video below.
We are delighted to announce that VDW AirDrone is ready for departure to Bolivia. 6 days of aerial video shooting have been planned over Titicaca and around in order to supply a documentary movie. Drone has been full modified to operate flights at high altitude up to 5000m.
VDW AirDrone is testing the mounting of a thermographic camera in the context of scientific research, in collaboration with the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), Belgium.
